Set oven to 175C (fan).
Break eggs into a bowl and whisk.
Add cottage cheese, and stir to mix thoroughly.
Chop the ham and add to the mix.
Add the chopped onion.
Add salt and pepper.
Pour ingredients into a "quiche" dish and place in the oven.
Cook for around 30 mins and check. The quiche should be golden on top and springy to touch.
Enjoy hot or cold.
Ideally dairy products should be 0% fat, but up to 2% is allowed as long as it has no added sugar.
Dairy should also be kept down to a total of 1kg per day.
