Clean prawns under running water and properly dry with paper towels. Marinate prawns with salt, pepper, lemon juice, half of the minced garlic, and other herbs as desired. leave in the fridge for 30 min.
In the mean time, cut broccoli. Heat 3 cups of water in a soup pot until boil. Add in a pinch of salt and the broccoli. Let it cook until re-boil. Drain the broccoli and run under cold water. Leave in the colander to drain.
Heat up a pan and cook the prawns until tender - a bout 8 min. Leave aside.
Heat oil in a small pan on medium-high heat for 20 seconds. Add in dry Sichuan pepper and hot red chilli pepper. Turn the heat on low and heat for 45 seconds. When the peppers slightly turn dark brown or black, turn off the heat.
Bring the broccoli into mixing bowl, on top add salt and minced garlic. Pour hot oil on top (remove pepper and chillies remaining first if desired). Toss for a combine.
Transfer broccoli into a serving bowl. add prawns. decorate with cherry tomatoes if desired.
